Our work ranges from public health breakthroughs in new filtration methods removing harmful chemicals from drinking water to implementing strategies to combat air pollution on a global scale. You can work on research in more than 20 topic areas in state-of-the-art labs on the engineering and public health campuses.

I was able to take water resources courses geared toward preparing me to work on real-world projects. In addition, my adviser, Carsten Prasse, and the rest of the faculty were a huge positive influence for me. They were always available to talk about classes or long-term goals, which helped steer me in the right direction.
